"The condo was awesome, we opened all the windows and were serenaded by the ocean. The grounds were immaculate, not so much as a leaf was allowed to tarry on the lawn. We especially enjoyed the small ice chest because we could pack lunches and head off on "adventures". There was nothing we needed, the condo had it all even a muffin tin. Thank you for all your thoughtfulness in outfitting the condo, it felt like home. We would love to come back to Kaui for another visit, it is so beautiful, green and incredibly relaxing.

"I mailed a note to you yesterday to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay
in your condo, and realize I failed to mention some of the other small
touches, such as the book selection, the lovely containers for hand soap in
the bathrooms, having some detergent on hand, the boogie board, noodles and
mats in the closet, placemats and dishes to alternate for meals, etc. I am
practicing on centering myself to recall the early morning and evening
comfort of sitting on the balcony to greet and close each day, with the
palm fronds swaying and the (mostly) gentle rhythm of the waves to soothe
our souls.
Kauai is unquestionably my favorite island. We snorkeled every morning and
hiked every afternoon, using Kauai Revealed as our bible. We felt sad to
think of all the visitors in the big hotels who never get to experience the
breathtaking vistas along the trails or swimming in a lava pool or under a
waterfall. We hiked in the canyon and flew into a complete circle rainbow
during our helicopter ride. We discovered a couple living in a cave at the
secluded beach stop along the trail leaving from K'ee Beach. We scraped
the soft meat from a young coconut to make fruit smoothies one day (the
quality of the blender was appreciated, too). We ate passionfruit picked
from trees along some of the trails. We wore only bathing suits and shorts
each day and thoroughly enjoyed cooking our own special meals (such great
fresh fish) in the condo with some wonderful CD music in the background. As
much as I love my kitchen at home, there is nothing to compare with having
just experienced another beautiful day on Kauai, a dip in the ocean in
front of the condo followed by a swim in the wonderful WARM pool, and then
sipping wine while preparing a meal in that great kitchen looking out on
the ocean with the wonderful swaying palms.
I have told everyone I know that if they plan on visiting Kauai, we know
the perfect place to stay! You've thought of everything. Even your
housekeeper was delightful to talk with ...

There were many families staying at Lae Nani, more so than last year and the complex seemed almost 100% occupied. We would not hesitate to go again and would recommend it to friends and family! Polihale State Park to exploring the Waimea Canyon; from Kayaking the
Wailua River to hiking the scenic waterfalls - this island is a
nature fanatics dream come true! We even had time to relax by the
pool and watch the waves splash on the shore. Well, so long Kauai -
you've made a dedicated convert out of both of us. Thanks for sharing
a little piece of your paradise."
"This was
our first trip to Hawaii and it was perfect. Your condo was just
right for us and, we appreciated how clean and well equipped it was
as well as the great location. We will recommend it to others. We had
8 days without rain. We kayaked the Wailua, rode bikes down the
Waimea Canyon, hiked Sleeping Giant, the Arboretum and the Napali
Coast (only 2 miles in) and, the high point for me - an ultralight
hangglider flight out of Port Allen. We also had lots of time to
relax and enjoy the condo. The grilled ono with coconut curry served
on shimp risotto at A Pacific Cafe was the culinary high point.
All in all, a
great trip."
